Eco Friendly Listening

What do you think of when you see the words 'Eco-friendly products?' Do you think of those new funky shaped light bulbs? Perhaps you picture energy efficient appliances. But does the thought of environmentally friendly speaker cabinets cross your mind?

Klipsch, maker of high-end audio products, has decided to turn a new leaf, a green leaf that is. They have decided to take an Eco-friendly approach to developing their future line of Klipsch Palladium P-39F speakers.

Currently the line is made from zebrawood, an exotic type of wood which is often used in the production of high-end speaker cabinets. Zeebrawood is found in the Rainforest, which as we all know, is being harvested to the point of extinction. Klipsch understand this matter and they have found a greener way to make their speakers and not sacrifice the quality and look their customers have come to enjoy.

They will use what the company calls a 'Linia' veneer, which is made from trees that are part of a government sanctioned controlled harvest. So next time you're looking for speakers, make a green decision and check out the Klipsch line.
